Dr. Jeffrey Garner

Dr. Jeffrey Garner, Founder of Way of the Beloved, a
practice and pathway of following Jesus as found in the
Fourth Gospel, is an educator, public speaker, spiritual
director and writer dedicated to helping seekers Awaken
to the love of God, Abide in it day by day and Affect their
communities with God’s love.
For twenty years, Dr. Garner served SF Lighthouse, a
Christian community in the heart of the San Francisco, as pastor, teacher and community worker. He is adept at engaging urban contexts with love, hope and sensitivity, resulting in deep and meaningful transformation. As a season educator with a niche message Dr. Garner uses
his academic rigor, poetic penchant and gifted story-telling
to speak, teach, write, and coach through the lens of
Belovedness, making his style unique and refreshing in
today’s market.
Dr. Garner expounds on the pathway of belovedness on First Saturdays—a virtual monthly encounter open to everyone, at
in-home Way of the Beloved retreats across the country, on social media and as a guest speaker. In addition, he regularly leads coaching cohorts, as well as his three-year Masterclass, Way of the Beloved, a discipleship model.
