Maryann L. Hayles

Maryann L. Hayles is the First Lady of Roberts Wesleyan University, Rochester, NY, where she has the distinct honor of coming alongside her husband of 23 years, Dr. Rupert A. Hayles, Jr., Ph.D. She is also the Co-Founder and Managing Partner, Inner Healing at the Center for Emotional and Spiritual Development. She has coached in the emotional and inner healing realms for many years and is certified in the emotional measures EQ-i 2.0® and EQ 360®. Maryann is a certified teacher and facilitator of the Elijah House Training School (inner healing and prayer ministry) and a facilitator of The Circle of Security® Intervention Program (designed to improve the developmental pathway of children and their parents). Prior to her current position, she was the Founder and President of Babyz & Kidz Dynamics, a specialty store for children’s apparel. She also served in Corporate America for 17 years. She received a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from New York University. Maryann is a prophetic intercessor at heart and has a deep passion to see broken people healed, restored and empowered to fulfill their unique God-given purpose. She is a strong believer in the importance of the integration of Biblical Spiritual Formation/Discipleship and Emotional Intelligence as the foundational building blocks to emotionally healthy spirituality and fruitful Christ-centered living. Maryann is currently pursuing her Master of Arts (M.A.) in Spiritual Formation from Regent University (where she began her studies some years ago). She and Rupert, their two teen-age children, Stephen and Savannah, and their furry friends, Mocha and Patricia, make their home in North Chili, NY.
